Zac trained at East 15 school of acting. Credits whilst training include Boxer in Animal Farm and The Duke in Lupe de Vegas Punishment without Revenge. Since leaving he has been working, but has also enjoyed rolls of West Side Story, Fame, Jesus Christ Superstar, Poppy and most recently played Trekki Monster in Avenue Q! This is Zac's first show with Renegade.
Ryan plays the part of the male ensemble in Spring Awakening. He is currently in his first year of A-Levels studying Maths, Physics, Psychology and Performing Arts at Holmer Green Senior School. He has actively taken part in projects at the Wycombe Swan Theatre such as Oliver!, and Little Shop of Horrors, and had also participated in school shows such as We Will Rock You and 'Grease'. He enjoys being a part of 'Spring Awakening' with Renegade Theatre Company because he likes the hard working but laid-back atmosphere in the group and the relationship between the cast members and producers.
Alex is 17 and attending Aylesbury High School, studying Drama, English Literature, Film Studies and Psychology at AS Level. She trained for 10 years at Jackie Palmer Stage School until 2013, previously being involved in the Wycombe Swan Summer Youth Project’s My Fair Lady, Crazy For You, Fame, West Side Story, Beauty and the Beast and Oliver!, and in The Railway Children at Waterloo Station. This will be her first production as a Renegade, and couldn’t be more surprised and delighted to have landed the role of Wendla - she’s extremely excited and hopes you enjoy the show!
Nicole is a keen musical theatre performer having attended the Landon Jennings dance studios since the age of 3, training in ballet, tap, jazz, modern and flamenco. Nicole is currently taking A-Levels in Spanish, Politics, English Literature and Drama. She has been involved in many shows recently including: Keisha in Flashdance - The Musical (Beck summer project 2013), Coco in Zombie Prom (Renegade Theatre Company 2014), Patty Simcox in Grease (Beck and Wycombe Swan summer project 2014). and Dominique Du Monaco in Lucky Stiff (Renegade Theatre Company 2014). Nicole is delighted to return to Renegade for ta third time, now as Anna in Spring Awakening and hopes you enjoy what will be a spectacular show!
Joe Carter is 18 years old and is in his first year studying Performing Arts at The Henley College. He has often played sizeable roles in school productions and is thrilled to be a part of Renegade Theatre Company's 3rd production, Spring Awakening. He has worked with the Wycombe Swan for just over two years, as an ensemble member in Beauty and the Beast, Murray in Little Shop of Horrors, 2nd Man in Oliver!. He also performed in Renegade's Zombie Prom as Eddie Flagrante, and in their first production at the Duke Street Theatre, Lucky Stiff, as the Emcee, Terry the Lodger, and the American Gothic painting. He cannot wait to be making his panto debut later this year as Dandini in Cinderella at the Duke Street Theatre (watch this space... it will happen).
Joe Oliver Eason
Joe studied Set & Costume Design at Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. His recent acting credits include Collins in Rent, Freddy in 1,000 Suns, Diesel in West Side Story, Romeo in Romeo & Juliet, and Moritz in Spring Awakening. He is also a playwright with his first musical having been performed by universities across the country and enjoying two consecutive successful years at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. His second play is currently in rehearsal for its premier in Canterbury. Joe currently works as a bookseller and spends his spare time, reading, writing, and baking scones.
Luke is 17 and currently studying A levels in Psychology, Biology and English Lit at the Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe. He has been amerced in musical theatre from a very young age and continues this in his work assisting local director Matthew Dye at the Pauline Quirke Academy Amersham. He has also taken part in a variety of shows in the local area such as West Side Story, Our House, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors, Oliver!, Hairspray and Grease. When not taking part in theatrical productions Luke is often playing tennis, the piano, or singing with the Youth Choir of the Year, Singers Ltd (soon to be taking Munich by storm), and occasionally revising. He hopes you think the show isn’t too shabby.
Mhairi has recently gradutated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. She made her professional debut in the stage-adaptation premiere of The Broken Circle Breakdown. Whilst training: Irina in Chekhov's Three Sisters, Rosalind in the premiere of Imogen Stubbs' We Happy Few, Tanya in the UK premiere of Stephen Jeffreys The Art of War and Mina in Howard Goodall's A Winter's Tale.
Amelia is 16 years old and is currently studying Musical Theatre at The BRIT School for Performing Arts and Technology. She also dances at The Landon Jenning's studios in West London. Amelia participated in many shows at her secondary school including Les Miserablés, Grease, Hairspray and We Will Rock You. This is the first Renegade Theatre Company show Amelia has participated in and she looks forward to participating in many more!
Tanita has recently graduated from Mountview Academy of Theatre Arts. This is her third time working with Alex Howarth; previously on Picnic by William Inge and a devised piece Beans On Toast which they took to Edinburgh Fringe Festival last year and now to Brighton in May. She's Norwegian and has lived in the UK for three years now. Also, she likes piña coladas and getting caught in the rain.
Dominique currently attends Wycombe High School and is studying English Literature, Theatre Studies, Spanish and Psychology. She has had a passion for Musical Theatre for as long as she can remember, aided by her Musical Theatre Vocal Training and her attending Elizabeth Fenton School of Dance since the age of 3 years old. She has worked with the Wycombe Swan Theatre for 4 years now participating in a variety of shows including West Side Story, Our House, Beauty and the Beast, Little Shop of Horrors and Grease. She also played Miss Strict in Renegade Theatre Company's Zombie Prom and has gotten the opportunity to play amazing roles such as Motormouth Maybelle and The Queen of Hearts in school productions.
Emilie Kraft is 16, currently studying Philosophy and Ethics, English Literature, Theatre Studies and Film Studies AS at Wycombe High School. She has also previously attended Pauline Quirke Academy Penn. Emilie has been involved in Oliver! at the Swan, playing the valued role of strawberry seller, to Alex Brains' milk maid and cannot wait to bring this show stopping collaboration to the stage once more. As the proud creator of 'Spring Awakening : Under The Blankets', Emilie is loving working with Renegade, with all its wonderful opportunities for pun filled fun and can't wait for everyone to see this enthralling show.
Tom is a 17 year old student, halfway through his final year at the Royal Grammar School, High Wycombe, studying for his A levels in Music, French, Latin and Italian. With ambitions of studying Music at university next year, he involves himself in as many productions and performances as possible, notably: Kenickie in Wycombe Swan's Grease, Joey, in Renegade's debut musical Zombie Prom and Felix in Avant-Garde. Outside of musicals, Tom is part of football and cricket teams in the local area, takes an active role in RGS' acapella group, Singers Ltd., recently named BBC's Youth Choir of the Year (don't mean to brag) and has played the piano for a number of years. Surrounded by such a talented cast, Tom is thrilled to have the opportunity to play the part of Melchior in Spring Awakening, and hopes you enjoy the show as much as he does!
Alex currently attends the Royal Grammar School, in Lower Sixth Form. He studies Chemistry, Spanish, Maths, Further Maths AS Levels and GCSE Japanese. His previous performance with Renegade in Lucky Stiff as 'Luigi Gaudi/Arab/Tony Hendon' earned him a coveted 'Banana Award' (akin to a Tony) and he has previously been involved with the Royal Grammar School's production of Oh What A Lovely War! (Field Marshal Haig) and the Youth Project at the Wycombe Swan. He loves theatre and wants to be an actor in the future.
Amelia (Mia) is 19 years old and previously studied Performing Arts at The Henley College, leaving with top grades that she is very proud of. During her time studying there she played roles such as The Narrator in Joseph and the Amazing Technicolour Dreamcoat and 'A Thought' in Sarah Kane's 4.48 Psychosis. She has recently been involved in productions with Stage One Youth where she played characters such as Serena in Fame and directed her first play 'Poppy'. Amelia is lucky enough to have also played Belle and Ensemble characters in Reading Rep's 2012-13 Christmas Show 'A Christmas Carol'. This is Amelia's first show as a Renegade and she is sure that the very talented cast will "Wow" you all with their performances.
Hayley is excited to play the role of Martha in Renegade’s Spring Awakening. She has recently graduated with a Degree in Music Theatre from the University of Central Lancashire. Performing is Hayley’s passion and has been from a young age. She has played many roles in various Musicals including Carlotta in Phantom of the Opera, Madame De La Grande Bouche in Beauty and the Beast and Ida in Honk. Hayley has also appeared in various Television Dramas and Films. This is Hayley’s first production with Renegade and is thrilled to be working with such a great cast and crew!
Niven caught the acting bug at age 11, when he was cast as the evil Sheriff of Nottingham in his year 6 play of Robin Hood. Despite a number of boos and pies to the face, Niven was not deterred from performing. Almost 10 years on, he has always been keeping himself busy with a variety of concerts, gigs, musicals and plays. Notable performances include: Nathan Detroitin Guys and Dolls, Joe Vegas in Fame and Cookie in Return To The Forbidden Planet. When he isn’t on stage, Niven works at a local primary school as part of the one-to-one learning support team - a job which he loves. This is Niven’s first show with renegade and having played lighthearted, comic characters in the past, he is thrilled to be playing the troubled, erratic character that is Moritz Stiefel.
